Hi everyone, I am honored to be the
featured store this week. I am Mary Nelson of Merkeley
Designs, better known as Merkee. I started my own little
store a year ago and it has been a fun and personally rewarding
year.
I have been a dabbler and creator in
digital graphics for almost 10 years. I love to use my computer
and create, whether it be layouts, digital supplies, printables or
just simple photos. It is what I do, it is what fills me and
I am passionate about it. I am an eclectic artist and do a little
bit of everything. I began my graphic journey making signature
tags and stationery for my email program. I joined many online
tutorial lists and ate up every tutorial I could find for Paint
Shop Pro and have perfected my skills and continue to do so. I discovered
Digital Scrapbooking early in 2005 and started actively
designing in August of 2005. I'm still going strong.
I am married to a wonderful man who
does computer networking. I have two teenage children at home that
are very much into their computers. We are a geeky family, I
wouldn't have it any other way. :) We live in Northern
California and have 3 cats and 2 dogs. I have a beautiful
stepdaughter that lives in Southern California with her husband.
